Exploration Program

CamIron was incorporated in April 2005 to explore and develop hematite iron ore prospects in the Mbalam region of Cameroon that had previously been identified through exploration between 1976 and 1984 funded by the United Nations Development Program ("UNDP") in partnership with the Cameroon Ministry of Mines. This exploration estimated iron mineralisation in excess of 800 million tonnes, including 218 million tonnes grading more than 60% Fe, within the exploration permit area held by CamIron.

The UNDP work indicated surface hematite mineralisation extending two kilometres along strike over the Mbarga prospect. A second surface hematite occurrence within the permit area, the Metzimevin prospect, was evaluated by the UNDP with drilling of six diamond drill holes. This drilling identified a number of significant intersections of +60% hematite.

Aeromagnetic survey work undertaken by Sundance has identified 36 kilometres of prospective iron formation within the exploration permit area.
