George F Jones

Non Executive Chairman

Mr George Jones has over 35 years experience in the mining, banking and finance industries. He is a director of a number of private and publicly listed companies.

George was instrumental in overseeing the growth of Portman Mining Limited, taking it from a start-up iron ore producer in the early 1990's to a 6 million tonne per annum producer of direct shipping hematite ore with a market capitalisation of over $600 million in 2005. George is currently also Chairman of Gindalbie Metals Ltd and Mundo Minerals Ltd.

Don Lewis

Managing Director / Chief Executive Officer

Mr Don Lewis is a civil engineer with over 20 years experience in resource project development, construction and financing. Prior to joining Sundance, Don was Managing Director of Multiplex Engineering Pty Ltd ("MXE"), a subsidiary of Multiplex Ltd, responsible for major minerals, infrastructure and energy projects including the Moma Mineral Sands Project ($320m), Perth Seawater Desalination Project ($300m) and the Bayu Darwin Gas Pipeline ($200m). Don built MXE from start-up to become a significant profit generator within Multiplex Ltd.

Don was previously Managing Director of Danae Resources NL and a Director of Greenwich Resources plc.

Ken Talbot

Non Executive Director

Mr Ken Talbot is a prominent Australian businessman with nearly four decades of significant corporate, financial and mining expertise, including 20 years as a CEO/Managing Director. Mr Talbot's investment company, Talbot Group, is Sundance’s largest shareholder.

Having commenced his career as a mining engineer, Ken has extensive technical experience in the resources industry, particularly in the carbon steel materials sector. He founded the highly successful coal mining company, Macarthur Coal Ltd, which listed on the ASX in 2001.

Talbot Group is a Queensland-based investment group focusing on the resource sector, with an asset base of more than $550 million. Its interests encompass minerals exploration and operations, energy exploration and development, financial investments, and a substantial property portfolio.

Geoff Wedlock

Non Executive Director

Mr Geoff Wedlock is an experienced Australian mining executive with more than 35 years experience in the mining sector, the majority at senior levels within the industry. Prior to joining Sundance, Geoff was Managing Director of Grange Resources, a role he held since 2005.

Geoff's previous roles include Managing Director of successful mid-tier iron ore producer Portman Limited and 32 years with BHP, including a period as CEO of a major BHP business unit. Geoff brings to Sundance extensive experience in resource project management and development, particularly in the international iron ore industry. He has had significant commercial experience with financiers, international partners, customers, and governments.

Dr. John Saunders

Non Executive Director

Dr. John Saunders has wide experience in the private and public sectors, including high-level investment, business development and advisory roles in Australia, the US, Europe and China.

John's career highlights include negotiating an engineering, procurement and construction contract with a Chinese consortium for a 750 MW hydro power project in Nepal for a major Australian hydro developer; leading the development of a 500,000 tonne per annum hot plate rolling mill in Vietnam designed by a major German engineering group, with equipment supplied by a Chinese consortium of CMEC, MECC and Shougang; and pioneering government policy for Public-Private Partnerships for infrastructure development in Australia.

John has held a number of key positions including Investment Coordinator General for the Government of New South Wales, Deputy Managing Director of the Australian Trade Commission, Chairman of the Western Australian Energy Policy and Planning Working Party, Special Adviser to the State Energy Commission of Western Australia, member of the Joint Committee for the North-West Shelf Gas Utilisation, and Chairman of an Asian Infrastructure Taskforce for the Australian Federal Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade.

He is currently Chairman of the Linden Group, Sydney Gas Ltd, the Asia Pacific Council of the Macquarie University, Mosaic eCommerce Solutions Pty Ltd, Carbon Pool Pty Ltd and the Sydney Film School.

Alec Pismiris

Executive Director / Company Secretary

Mr Alec Pismiris has over 20 years' experience in the securities, finance and mining industries. Alec has a Bachelor of Commerce degree from the University of Western Australia and is an Associate of the Institute of Chartered Secretaries in Australia. He is currently an executive director of Azure Capital, a Perth-based investment bank and corporate advisory firm.

Alec is Company Secretary of several companies listed on the Australian Securities Exchange and a number of private companies, including Prairie Downs Metals Limited, Western Uranium Limited and Industrial Minerals Corporation Limited.

Craig Oliver

Non Executive Director

Mr Oliver has considerable corporate, project development and operational experience from more than 15 years in senior roles in mid-capped publicly listed mining companies and as a partner in a mid-tier Chartered Accounting firm. Craig is a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants.

Mr Oliver is also a director of De Grey Mining Ltd and Finance Director and CFO of Western Areas NL.
